II Extends Warmest Wishes for Ramadan

" O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint " Qur'an 2:183

The Islamic Institute sends its warmest greetings to the American Muslim community and to Muslims world-wide in recognition of the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan offers a spiritual time for fasting, prayer, peace consideration and acceptance for all mankind. It is also a month to practice self-discipline, strengthen family and community bonds, and to share with the poor through charity and generosity.

Have a blessed Ramadan.
