The Islamic Free Market Institute Foundation (IFMIF) proudly participated in the 32nd annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) of 2005 and attracted strong interest. CAPC was a tremendous platform for IFMIF to advocate free markets and democracy within the Islamic World and to educate visitors about the issues important to the American Muslim community. Held at the Ronald Reagan Building , (CPAC) attracted 4, 500 participants. The annual three-day event has become one of America 's oldest and largest gatherings of grassroots conservative activists and made headlines across the nation. Numerous issues were addressed to reflect the agenda of elected officials, students, and activists, including the economy, taxation, tort reform, civil liberties, limited regulation and homeland security. People from all over the nation collected to exhibit their support for the conference and what CPAC stands for. Among these participants were: Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Senior Political Advisor to President George W. Bush, Speaker Newt Gingrich, David Keen of the American Conservative Union Foundation, Mark Levin, author of Men in Black, Senator Mitch McConnell, Senator Rick Santorum Senator Tom Coburn, Grover Norquist with Americans for Tax Reform and many more. All participants collaborated to produce one of the most important and successful political events of the year. |
